Rust integration

Using in Rust should be easier now thanks to a community made wrapper by Gonzo.

When we first created, we wanted our platform to be as moddable as the games we represent. That meant creating an API that anyone can access, to build their own wrappers, websites, applications and games. Because our service is not tied to a launcher, platform or store, it allows our partners as well as our community to get creative and roll whatever solution they require. For example if you wanted to bypass the site and build your own community you can do that, and in this case a user by the name of gonzo has wrapped our API to make it easier for Rust developers to use.

Using the wrapper

You can find the wrapper on Github via the links above, as well as documentation and example code. The wrapper is also available via, the Rust Package Registry.

Community spotlight

The creator gonzo has been incredibly active from the beginning, provided much input and feedback that has guided our internal decisions, and takes about 27 seconds to get API changes wrapped. You can find him on our Discord ready to chat. If you are interested in building your own wrappers, engine plugins or just contributing to - we welcome your input and look forward to more community spotlights in the future.
